Amazing comfort, poor uppers

I love these shpes, they're my only choice for work as a cashier. The soles are the best I've ever worn. Amazing comfort, quality, and durability for the price. However, the uppers are coming unglued after 6mos daily wear. I'm gonna repair them because they are such amazing foam soles. They are made with a weird honeycomb patyern to grip the floor, and so thick and supportive. For someone with sciatica and fallen arches that's quite a feat. I just wish the uppers didn't wear so fast. They'd be 5 stars if the glue wasn't coming apart and the shell didn't tear away from the elastic gusset.
