Mediocre design but solid enough.

The recommended drill sizes are too large. Those sizes are the outside diameters of the screws, threads included. If you follow the directions and use 5/32" and 1/8" drills, the screws will pull out. The three screw design has the top two screws holes an inch apart. Considering that the bracket will probably be fastened to the 1-5/8" edge of a 2x4, that doesn't give the installer too much room to miss. Stud finders are inexact. It would be better to make the screw holes slightly closer. The straight bracket arm means that the fingers of a person using the rail will hit the bracket with their fingers as they slide their hand up or down the rail. It would be better to make the bracket arm more of a quarter circle, coming straight down from the rail and curving into the wall. Aside from that, decent for the price.
