"Sea-Dog Corporation warrants its manufactured products to the original retail purchaser, to be free from defective material and workmanship for a period of 12 months from date of purchase. Where Sea-Dog products are used commercially or in any rental income producing activity then this warranty is limited to 6 months from date of purchase. The exclusive remedy under this Limited Warranty shall be the repair or replacement of the product, at the discretion of Sea-Dog Corporation when product not meeting this warranty is returned (freight prepaid) within the applicable warranty period to the dealer where purchased, or to us at the appropriate address. All returns must include proof of purchase and an explanation of the details of the defect and how the product was used. This limited warranty does not apply in cases of damage to the product by accident, abuse, mishandling or unauthorized repair nor for consequential damages, inconvenience or labor involved in the removal of the defective product and replacement of the repaired/replacement product. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may or may not apply to you.
