Great Value LED Light Bulb, 9W (60W Equivalent) A19 General Purpose Lamp E26 Medium Base, Non-dimmable, Daylight, 9yr, 12-Pack

I have been changing all the light bulbs in my house to LED and so far real happy with these bulbs performance. I do like the daylight more than the LED soft whites as they are brighter and less amber to the light they emit. The only question which only time can tell is what their longevity will be. I do like LED technology in that they put out very little heat so power used is much lower than any other type bulbs, they are bright, and made with plastic not glass for the bulb casing. Led's will not dim over time like other bulbs. I am also using LED technology for my cars so as the bulbs go I replace them with LED"s.

I never thought I'd be excited about light bulbs, but after not having bright light for awhile, it feels really good to have it again, not to mention electricity and hot and cold running water. These LED light bulbs really are better than the light bulbs we've been using. I tend to buy what I think is the cheapest available, and my husband had been buying the CFL kind. I think we will be using LEDs from now on. They have a longer lifespan, the price for these is reasonable, compared to what my husband had been choosing. But we didn't have any that were like a 100w of light. I've never tried this kind of LED, except the round globes in the bathroom. I didn't know that fourteen watts was like having a 100 watt bulb. These seem brighter than a regular 100 watt bulb, though. I thought the box would tell what the white coating at the base means. I thought it was so that people could touch it without reducing the lifespan of the bulb. We always put on latex gloves to change light bulbs. It would be so nice not to have to do that. The performance that I received from these has earned its place on my grocery list.
