Designed for today’s efficient, practical and contemporary lifestyle, the Prospect LED clip lamp is made entirely of metal with a convex glass magnifier light shield. A decorative light band accents the metal shade and the gooseneck permits total adjustment for height and direction. Choose from a brushed steel finish or matte black with black fabric-covered cord. A toggle switch located on the clip base turns the lamp on and off. This lamp is smart outlet compatible. The LED light is integrated into the lamp and is not replaceable, but lasts 50,000 hours!

handsome lamp
This lamp is very artistic looking and actually accentuates my desk. I needed just a little light to see my keyboard, and although the light is extremely bright, if I aim it away from my desk I can see to type and do other tasks late at night without having to use other light sources as there is a translucent space near the rim that gives off just the right amount of illumination. And I love the toggle switch for easy on and off.

yes, it worked for me!
I actually clipped this upside down on a shelf above my head and it works perfectly. I can reach the on off button much easier and the goose neck points downward onto the lower shelf giving off better light. By doing this, I was also able to make the cord longer, so that it would fit in the plug on the wall. Who woulda thunk?
