Survivor iPad mini, Pink/Black, Touch ID

I bought this case for my daughter's ipad mini back when Apple first came out with the mini back in 2012. She was 2 almost 3 years old at the time. So it's now 4 years later and I'm only just now having to find a replacement for it and let me tell you, that ipad has been through everything you can think of. But I can take it out of the case and the ipad still looks like new. It's worth the price and a good investment to keep your ipad safe especially if children are using it.

This case was very easy to put on my daughter's iPad. It's strong and durable enough for an 8 year old. She loves the pink color and it's very comfortable for her to hold. It's not heavy or cumbersome, the rubber gives it a good grip. My only complaint about this product is the screen cover does not keep the little bits of dust or dog fur from getting in. There is always a small fur or bits of dust underneath it. I would think with a cover like this it would keep these things out. It's a big part of why I picked a case with a screen cover. It also worries me for when we have small spills next to the iPad that drips of the liquid can still get in an ruin the iPad. I know it's not supposed to be totally waterproof but it would be nice if it prevents those first few accidental drops before we could grab it up. We all know these things can happen with kids. I was also a little disappointed with the packaging. I ordered this from the website and the package was filthy dirty and looked like it was kicked all around the dirty floor before it was packaged to ship. It wasn't a good presentation for a Christmas gift. I couldn't make it from Santa my daughter would have been mad at the elves for wrapping her a dirty present.
