    Comfortable Mattress

    This mattress has reduced by back, neck and shoulder pain. It does not have the problem of trapping body heat. It is a thicker mattress so the use of a half height box spring is needed to keep the overall height the same as the older mattress. Setup was quick and easy. Two persons delivered the new mattress and took the old mattress saving me the cost and effort of disposing of the old mattress

    From Firm to Extra Firm

    Extra firm is correct and that is what we wanted after a firm mattress not providing good support after a couple years. Of course, we will have to wait and see how it holds up. The construction says more support in the middle and that is what I need. For comfort we have a basic bed topper and heavy matters cover with some softness. That has worked well for both a heavier and lighter weight person. Great side support and solid construction.

    It’s been a few weeks and so far so good! My wife and I tried a couple bed in the box companies including the purple mattress and we ended up having to return them. We were sleeping better on our 8 year old Beautyrest spring mattress than the brand new ones. That’s when we decided to stick to what we knew was working for us and got a new spring mattress. I like this mattress a lot so far. It’s firm but not hard if that makes sense. The only thing I will note is that if you pay close attention you will notice that the center of the bed is slightly higher than the head and foot. I chalk this up to there being extra coils in the center for enhanced back support, however for someone who is slightly OCD I do my best to ignore it.
