Beautiful and well built

I own this boat. I have not run it on the water yet as I am trying to get a second set of batteries. I have also tried to fit the hard case 50C 4S batteries and fortunately the LHS took back the ones they ordered as there is no way to get them into the boat. Using my calipers the thickest batteries would like be in the 30-35mm size. The width then becomes the issue. With the ESC and the motor, this baby could easily handle the 6S batteries. On the box it mentions and 80C 3S to get insane 45 MPH out of it. I watched a YouTube video which a fellow flipped his a couple of times in some fairly rough water for this boat. The boat appears hightly maneuverable and very quick. I am trying to get a set of the 80C 3S and they are on back order. First run will be tomorrow am. On dry dock all is set and bound and the motor has been checked and regreased, don't trust anyone to do that job and it is easy enough to do. Will revisit this review if I find any additional issues.

Quality rtr boat

Very solid boat runs great whether you run 4 or 6 s would I like to see larger water cooling hose and a better collect and shaft both work but are kind of crude and Proboat could improve on them. No real problems with boat but must say that you should wax boat before using my buddie has had clear coat coming off from taping hatch. Also you should add some extra floatation foam up both sides of sponsons to prevent boat from sinking yes it will sink. Had a bad crash and broadsided my buddies boat and it would have sank if my boat wasn't stuck in the side of his . Overall great rtr boat will run 59 mph out of box on 6s with x 642 prop fastest we have gotten on stock motor and esc be careful if you attempt this because you will be running very high temps and it will fry motor and possibly the esc . Lastly if your looking for good boat to blast around your local pond can't beat it I have 2 and love them both Horizon Hobby has great customer service you won't be disappointed.

Very impressed!

Bought my blackjack two weeks ago and I have to say it's stable and with a few adjustments very fast! It almost stays with my voracity 36. With a strut adjustment and gps on board I'm getting 49.807 mph out of the box!!! I haven't even worked on the prop yet! With some tuning and testing I'm sure I'll get quite a bit more! Get one you can't get a better quality boat for the money! Running 6s
