=> The scheduler works if you turn off “IAR”

Thanks for the reviews posted. I set my schedule and for no reason, the heater came on an hour early and woke me up sweating. Turns out the thermostat has intelligent adaptive recovery. It anticipates how long it takes to get to the new temp and turns on early. Ugh. So you can turn this on an off if you know the procedure. The manual you need is the “installation manual”. There it has the procedure and codes you need. Website link: https://manuals.plus/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/T4-Pro-Install-Instructions-33-00187EFS.pdf. You press and hold menu & + for 3-5 seconds. ISU displays. Press select and 120 will display (I chose #3 for 5-1-1 prog), choose select until 425 displays for intelligent adaptive recovery” and “0” is off, “1” is on. Select “0” and home to save. Now the program comes on the way you set it. The link above can be saved to your computer for the next home owner to reference.

The only reason for not getting 5 stars is because the vendor did not send the exact model number that I order. They redeemed themselves by providing timely and accurate technical support. With their support I was able to install the new thermostat without making any mounting or wiring changes. They walked me through the initial setup and programming to make the necessary adjustments.

adaptive memory

so have had this for about 3 years. i agree with everyon'e assessment of how difficult it is to discover how to program it. still haven't found the 5-2 programing option. i don't like the adaptive memory because it means the heater turns on a different time EVERY day. for someone who doesn't sleep well that is a big no no. also i have to adjust it every month because of that feature. in the dead of winter sometimes it turns on a 4 a.m. s i am continually changing the start time for the heater. would replace if it wasn't so new and expensive. my heating guy selected this when we replaced the heater. i had no choice.
