We are not doing well. Americans are emotionally and spiritually sick and becoming unglued and more divided than ever. We are drowning in puddles and hypersensitive to a fault. It is all intentional. Whatever you believe to be the source of evil in this world, it is on the march and it is weaponizing government, academia, traditional and social media, the arts, and even the Boy Scouts and the NFL. Everything is now politicized, and it is bringing out the worst in us.
Recent generations of adults are either ignorant or, worse, indifferent about the consequences of what is going on. Oddly, more of them are isolated and in despair despite having access to the world on their smartphones. They are being sold a bag of garbage about our country, our history, our values, and the principles of human nature. As a group, they seem to have an ever-diminishing relationship with God; rather they are putting their trust and faith into government. That is a bad bet, but politicians sell this free sugar to the masses. How did we get so far off course?
The US Constitution and the Bill of Rights cannot coexist with big government-over time. The government cannot give someone a single dollar without first taking it from another. Needless to say, our government has already overspent trillions of the backs of these generation and their children. This will not end well. Resistance will turn to revolution. The snowflakes have no idea what is coming. They were never taught about consequences because they were too busy being told how great they were.
We need to breed maturity much faster in all of us. We need a healthy relationship with our God and our government. God has a lot of countercultural demands on us about government. Deal with it. But government doesn't work. So what! We call it right-thinking.
