Remington smooth ceramic 1" hair straightener

I ordered and received this Remington smooth ceramic 1 inch hair straightener because I needed a new one. This is ceramic so its better for my hair than the non-ceramic models. I feel that my hair is protected from the heat as it glides over my hair when straightening. I programmed this flat iron for 370 degrees because I have thick hair that is hard to straightened. I tried it on 350 but I needed more heat. I carefully adjusted the heat after discovering which setting is suitable for my hair. The heat is adjustable up to 410. I liked the digital display and feel this is a unique feature. The ceramic pearl plates glide across my hair creating a smooth surface. I like the purple color and the ridges on the bottom for protection. The ceramic heats up fast in less than a minute. My hair felt smooth after gliding across my hair. It features a automatic shut-off, digital heat display. The ranges are as follows: 310-330 fine hair, 350-370 normal hair and 390-410 thick hair. I wasn't bold enough to use a really hot setting because I didn't want to damage my hair. There is a turbo boost heat feature and a lock mode feature. This feature makes the iron heat up even faster and then I could adjust it back down to a suitable temperature. There are instructions which displays all of the features available at a glance. They are: Ceramic pearl plates,graphic temp display, +/- temp controls, on/off button, swivel cord, display bars fore various heat settings, lock symbol and a hinged lock. I would recommend this Remington digital flat iron because it has quite a few heat ranges and it makes my hair fell smooth after straightening.

I Now Have Straight Hair!!!

Let me say from the get go that I have very thick, very long, very CURLY hair. I've had other straightening tools...quite a few of them. I've always had problems with them; either my hair got caught in them, or the cord was too short, etc., etc.. From the first time I used the Remington Ultimate Smooth, I've had straight, undamaged hair!! The cord is quite long, and swivels with your movements, so it doesn't get gnarled. Benefit number one. There is a temperature control that is wonderful. YOU control the exact temperature; it isn't just a low, medium, high type setting. Benefit number two. The straightening plates are ceramic, and believe me, my hair literally slides through..coming out perfectly straight. Benefit Number three. My hair is actually softer AND shinier than it has ever been, and I attribute that to this wonderful tool. I don't often get excited about products, but it's been a week, and I still can't stop touching my newly straightened, manageable hair.

Hair straightener

I have had other flat irons before this one and this one by far is the best on I had used. I like how this one had a digital thermostat instead of having to dial it up like I had to do with my last flat iron. This one looks and feels a lot better than other ones that I have used. I like this one a lot better and it is ceramic which I heard is better for the hair than any other ones that are out there. This flat iron has straightened my hair out a lot better, it is straighter and does not have the flyaway and frizz that it does when I use other products. This is something that I would recommend to my friends and family so that they can straighten their hair as well. I am also going to use it to straighten my daughter's hair as well. This is a very good product to use.
