Not out of the box yet.
I purchased this item for my den, but to be truthful, I have not hung the light/fan up as of today. It is still in the box. I had thought about returning it, but was worried that the company from whom it came (via Walmart) would be a problem concerning reimbursement. So I have kept it and will use it in a different room.
