The slide-out chassis is designed for either window or wall installation. In addition to cooling, this versatile unit also offers supplemental heat capability, providing you with an additional heat source to your main heat source when outdoor temperatures are above 45 degrees Fahrenheit. It quickly cools the room on hot days and quiet operation keeps you comfortable without keeping you awake. Features include electronic controls, full-function remote control with heat, 8-way air direction control and multiple speeds. Plus, the washable mesh filter with clean filter alert reduces bacteria, room odors and airborne particles creating a comfortable environment. This unit requires a special 230V electrical outlet and will not operate with a standard 115V household electrical outlet. |

So far - so good
Purchased this unit and another unit for bedroom. Nice looking unit and it is not very loud like some units can be. The noise level is what I had anticipated before purchase. It is August and I live in Texas so have not yet used the heating part of this unit. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Seems to do a great job of cooling!
We are in Arkansas and the other day it was 108 Degrees, actual temp. We had the unit set on 70 and we are cooling about 360 sq. ft. The inside room temp. was about 73 @ the hottest part of afternoon! Pretty great in my book . [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
