I got this patio umbrella for my wife, and she loves it. You just have to be smart, because it is plastic and can easily break. So I use a good amount of weight on the base when it's in use, and I reel the umbrella back in when it's not in use. These aren't designed for heavy wind, so be smart and you won't get your feelings hurt.

I don't expect to get more than one season from this but thats not the fault of the umbrella. I live in an area where I catch so much wind that I only get one season of use no matter what price I pay. The quality of this product seems as good as others that Ive paid twice as much for. So Im very happy with my purchase and it looks really nice on the deck......where its anchored with bolts. No regrets thus far.
