I ordered these containers with salads %26 salad dressings and marinades in mind, when I shake salads up in regularly boxy tupperware type containers I wind having the salad dressing spill out and make a mess. The caps on these cylinder containers haven't leaked at all and they are durable so I definitely recommend them for those that are looking for leakproof food storage containers like these. They are a little more expensive than I expected but the price is definitely worth it.

Great for soups

I bought these because they are large enough to put left over stews and soups in when the recipe makes enough to feed an army and there are only 2 of us to eat it. They are easier to pour out of when I want to reheat the left overs instead of having to use a ladle in the square storage containers. The screw on lids keep liquids in and don't come off if you happen to drop them out of the fridge.
