I love whole wheat products!
I eat a very healthy diet even when I go to restaurants or travel and have had these fig bars before. I can't always find these available and are nice to have when I do find them and will buy a few at a time so i have some available for next time. These are great snacks and breakfast items to have. They are fantastic with coffee and as a staple for a snack so your not left empty handed with unhealthy options. They are a very healthy grain and fruit combination. The fig bar can be eaten at once or half at a time, they are packaged in two bars which makes them a convenience product that is practical for a light snack or a more substantial snack, and still have a healthy conscious about not eating the whole thing, or have the rest available for a snack at a later date. The combination of fig and wheat makes for a well rounded diet that I am most comfortable with. I generally only eat half size snacks portions and they are already portioned that way. These are usually sold for a good price when I am able to find them.
Not Your Usual Fig Bar
Nature's Bakery Stone Ground Whole Wheat Fig Bars 6 pks, 12 pcs. The fig-to-bar ratio is really great, since the fig filling is generous. This is a really delicious fig bar- takes fig bar to a whole new level, in fact. And I love that there is a short list of ingredients and I can pronounce all of them! I sometimes find that food with such natural ingredients lack flavor, or have an off-flavor, but this is really not the case with these fig bars. They are really good! I thought I might have issues with grains, seeds, and my dental work, but this was not the case, even though these fig bars have an excellent, satisfying texture. The bars are noted as non-GMO, which to me, is great, and they are also labeled Kosher and Vegan Certified. I highly recommend these to anyone who really enjoys a good fig bar. And I'm quite happy to discover that there are other varieties!

I was introduced to these wonderous goodies by my parents and have been happily munching on them and enjoying the various flavors. They are great to snack on during long drives to keep up my energy and alertness. When I'm running late they are a quick grab for breakfast or snack.
