Can use LED bulbs without alteration

Replaced under-cabinet large T12 fluorescent fixtures in our kitchen with this model that uses small, but bright, T5 bulbs. The included bulbs are fluorescent with warm 3000K range. We wanted light with a cooler white (4100K) that is not offered with this fixture.. However, this fixture will take a T5 LED (yes LED) bulb in the cooler range that works well in a kitchen. We replaced original bulbs with LEDs for about $12 each. Fixture has a convenient on-off switch.
