Easy install and looks great!

Overall it looks good. My only concern is the stitching around the edges. It doesn look super durable so I do wonder how it will hold up over time.There was a small nail sized fraying where the fabric was folded over inside the shipping box. I had some white rv roof tape so I made a small patch to cover it. That should keep it from opening up more but it shouldn be something you see on a new awning.

Great DIY project for your RV

Existing awning was disintegrating so I went ahead and ordered a replacement. Delivery was quick and pleased with fabric quality. Installation is mostly straight forward ( I watched a couple of you tubes to see how to sequence the task) and the instructions included were also helpful. I picked a sunny day and laid out the new awning on the ground to "warm" the fabic, reduce wrinkles from shipment, and make it easier to handle. Followed the instructions including the important step of pinning the spring before removing anything from the existing wornout awning. The most awkward part was feeding the new awning through the groove on the RV moulding. Since I was doing this myself, I rigged up a pulley at the far end and used a length of cording to enable to both push and pull the fabic. Took about 10 minutes to work it through but no real problems getting that done. Reversed the steps followed to disassemble and was finished in about an hour. this was a moderately difficult DIY project as you have to follow steps in sequence and be up on a ladder multiple times. Be careful as it can be awkward handling the fabric while on the ladder and especially careful of locking the spring tension on the roller mechanism.The new awing acts and looks like new. It has held up fine in towing and deployment.
