not water proof
This camera takes great pictures night and day but it will get wet inside when it is left out in rain. Mine quit about a month after purchase because it was all wet inside. I brought it inside and dried it out over several days with a hair dryer and it started back working, The batteries only last a little over a month, less in cold weather. Great camera if you want to make a roof over it so it don't get wet..
