The cream color is see through if you have writing on your pillows or mattress. Other than that everything about this set is wonderful. Once I fluffed the comforter in the dryer like it suggests for 20 minutes it was fluffy and soft, the sheets are some of the smoothest I've slept on. I wish I had room to store another set for winter. Highly recommended!
