Better than Amour Etch but with a slight issue.

The 16oz bottle of Etchall is definitely a better deal than the 4oz bottles but may come at the cost of quality or freshness. I have gone through several bottles (4oz) etching glass using Etchall and it by far outperforms Armour Etch brand but my larger, 16oz bottle had a very different color and consistency. The 4oz bottles came in a nice creamy, easy spreading consistency with a light yellow color. The 16oz bottle had a very dark brown color and was the consistency of jello. I shook the bottle for a full five minutes snd it did not mix or even transfer to the lid. I then used a stick to stir it and barely got it to love. I then put it in a warm pan of water with little affect. I checked the Etchall website and was happy to learn that despite this it would still work. I am happy to say that it does however I could only manage to get it to a clumpy, gravy texture which is difficult to spread evenly so I used so much more than the nice creamy version. It was hard to get out of the bottle. Had to scoop it with a spoon. With all that, it still performs better, smoother and more consistent, than Amour Etch.
