not for the outside

Our intended purpose was for the outdoors. Well the material feels like velvet, they do not grip to anything. Nor can I imagine them getting anything off the souls of your shoes. The color is more vivid than displayed in the photo. So we are using them in the bathroom and I have had to tape them down to the floor, so they do not move around, and so the edges lay flat.
