Everwash™ Callaghan Eve Southwestern Medallion Machine Washable Area Rug, Brick Red, 3'11"x5'6"

I started buying washable rugs reluctantly due to my dog's frequent mishaps. I have always preferred the look and feel of natural fibers, and the washable rugs I have bought previously did not measure up. This rug has the look and feel of a traditional natural fiber rug. I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty and overall appearance and would seek out this brand for future purchases. Understand, it does not have the high pile and soft, lush feel of a thick wool rug. This feels more like a well-worn antique. It has the beauty of traditional rugs yet fits under a swinging door with little clearance. The motif is more Persian--NOT southwest, and the colors are less neutral than I expected (more pink and plum but traditional and natural). It works for my decor. This rug does not have a non-skid backing, but I have attached one using a tagging gun. I have not tried washing the rug yet.
