These plates are great!

These plates are made of special glass that is shadow resistant. I have dropped them from three or 4 feet off of the ground onto hardwood and they did not break. The thing I like most about them is that they are so thin that they are very lightweight. You don't feel like you're carrying a 6 pound ceramic plate around, but it still feels sturdy and you can cut steak on it, etc.

Great plates, poor packing/shipping.

The plates are great. Light weight, good size, durable, and they don't take much space when stacked. Best price I could find online. Shipping was an issue, as they were not packed well, and 2 of the plates were shattered upon arrival.
