Good for beginners.
This is excellent for a beginner to learn on. When trying to clean the screen or replace the batteries, and the casing cracks or screen breaks it's not a $50-$75 loss, only $20. This is not for a lady that has been shaving for a while. I was under the impression that this shaver had a base to charge it on, but learned that it uses batteries. That being said, when I looked at the compartment for the batteries, it has a pretty decent rubber ring sealing it. I bought this item for my 14 yr old daughter's first shaver, as it's her first time shaving. I didn't want her using a razor blade for her first time.
