These people got us hooked on this sausage and I don't even like sausage. The smell alone when it's cooking will bring neighbors over you didn't even know you had. It tastes AMAZING!! Only downside is two things, 1 they run out so fast it's hard to come by and 2 it will give you some wicked heartburn so be sure to pick up some great value antacid ( available in the pharmacy area lol ) and buckle up buttercup.

We've tried just about every brand of sausage patty from every popular grocery store, from uncooked organic patties to precooked microwave style, etc... and here's why my family rates these the best: First, these are the only patties that cover an entire English Muffin with the perfect thickness and diameter, without losing their size during cooking. All others end up the diameter of a silver dollar coin. Second, the texture and flavor are the most versatile. It's not too mild, but not overly spiced. When cooked properly the texture and bite are perfect - not that dry spongy crap like most of the others - and they really have that vibrant breakfast sausage flavor. Third, if you're chasing that classic McD's sausage eggamuffin flavor, these are the ONLY ones that nail it! Seriously. Before I tried these, I tried many others in my journey to make the perfect McD's clone muffins for my family, but none of the others met the mark. Pro tips - the best result you'll get from these is cooking on the stove, not the microwave. Preheat a non-stick pan on just a bit lower than medium, place frozen patties in the pan, cook 4 minutes first side, flip, 3 minutes on second side. WAY better than micro. And if you're really trying to make that McD clone with egg and cheese, use Bays English Muffins (sorry Thomas brand) and PICS yellow American cheese (sorry Walmart brand). There are a couple more little tricks, but just this is enough to make your family wonder if you went to the drive through while they were asleep. But even if you're just looking for a side sausage, these are an incredible value at approximately $0.65 per patty. I never thought I'd rank a frozen patty higher than a raw organic patty, but there.
