Great watch, love that it's automatic! The dial had a flat finish and the white gray numbers are large enough to read. There are also little applied indices at the hour markers that shine in the sun. Keeps really good time, and yes I know that there are some comments about it having +/- seconds per day but so does my car, microwave and stove clocks. Strap is nice and feels comfortable, although not long enough for my 8.5" wrist. 42mm at 12mm thickness is great for the size wrist that I have, doesn't look like a kids toy when I wear it. Sure it may be on the larger size but for those with smaller wrist that complain about the size there are numerous amount of watch choices that they can choose from. Guys like me that are built on the larger side appreciate the fact we can wear something classy in the boardrooms and on business meetings. Would have wanted the Giorgio Galli S1 but at 38mm, the size has pulled my attention to other brands that carry 42mm or 44mm.
