Stren Magnathin

I have used Magnathin for years in various sizes. I use 30 pound test for striper fishing, it is very hard to find in any store. Thank you Walmart for having it available online. I wish it was stocked in store in all weights. This line is thin with great strength and knot strength. It is my go to line for almost all of my rod and reel set ups ( over 20 ). I also use it for leaders. If you need a thin line but without giving up strength you should give it a try, I have yet to be disappointed but have been surprised and even amazed with it's strength.

I have been using Stren MagnaThin for a few years now. I like the fact that you get the feel of a thin line with the strength of heaver test lines. I fish mainly for Steelhead and Chinook salmon. I'm a firm believer that the quicker you can get a fish in the less fish you lose and the least amount of stress it will put on a fish if you want to release them. I committed to Stren MagnaThin to the point that I bought my line in 2600 yd. spools.

Excellent castability

Started using this about a year ago. Wanted a smaller diameter line that was still strong and would still cast well. It casts great and lets me have control of my lure. Not noticing any line memory problems either. If you're not using this line you should be.
