Bought the rod at least a four weeks ago. Purpose: carp fishing in flowing waters. Needed a rod that was light enough, but strong. Reasonably sensitive to takes when tight-lined and hand-held. This rod does it. Larger reel used holding Power-Pro 6x20 as mainline with 12-14pound-test leader. Fish run 8 to 20 pounds and in current. Look to control (LOL) at least to a degree, turn them and work them in. Without fear of snapping the rod or tip. This rod does that perfectly too. No issues.
