Johnson Crappie Buster Shad Scales

I bought the Shad scales a few weeks ago and have been testing it for 3 crappie fishing trips, 1st trip, I was spider rigging with 6 poles, all the same color jig, 3 poles were plain and 3 poles with Shad Scales. Summer fishing is tough. I caught 7 crappie, all with the shad scales. 2nd trip, I used same setup but used crappie nibbles on the other 3 poles. I caught 17 keepers 8 with crappie nibbles and 9 with Shad Scales. 3rd trip- I slit the back of my tube jigs around 3/8th", to let scales bleed more. It was another slow day but I caught 7 keepers with scales, 2 with crappie nibbles. The biggest difference I see is the Shad Scales last much longer than nibbles, and they are easy to use with the filler spout going into the tubes. More testing when the weather cools down and the fish start a good bite again. I am happy with this product and will use much more in the future.
