Great buy

Great saw. Excellent price. Cordless models seem to be the rage but they develop problems faster. Keep `em oiled.

Much easier to use than a gasoline, chainsaw and the best electric chainsaw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my chainsaw for five or six years maybe longer and it is the best electric chainsaw I've seen. I've basically quit using my gasoline chainsaw even for big jobs. I just had an 80 foot red oak fall in my yard about 18 inches in diameter on average and I cut most of it up with my electric chainsaw. It's so easy to use. No cranking, no gas just push the button and go. I keep an extra battery for big trees so while one is charging, I'm using the other. I love my chainsaw. I used it the other day helping my neighbor cut up some trees and he was amazed at how well at work compared to his gasoline, chainsaw. Thank you green works!

Nice little chainsaw!

We're an old couple, and live in the country. Lots of trees, so we needed something light and easy to handle. This is definitely light and small coming out of the box. We were a little uncertain at first. We put oil in it and tried it out. It cuts like you'd expect a chainsaw to cut. It went through a couple of 2 X 4s like they were butter. Then we tried a tree stump approximately 12". We cut through it twice with very little effort. If you're a lumberjack, get a big chainsaw, but for our purposes, this should do fine. Just one thing; these saws also use bar and chain oil. It keeps the chain lubricated, but it's constantly lubricating the chain, so you have to make sure there's oil in the reservoir. I'd suggest buying at least a gallon at the time. That should hold you for a while.
