I purchased these in March 2021., so have had maybe 10 days of March wind to experience. Extremely Pleased with these. Great Quality. I was a bit apprehensive before purchasing, because i wanted them for Outdoor use, obviously. I use them along the back yard fence, in a swag pattern, held in place by just one screw at the top of each swag - and was worried that with a bit of wind, they may break easily. I've had them up for about a week, with some windy conditions. Not terrible, like other parts of the country. But they have endured a few 25mph periods, with no cracking or breaking. I purchased this Tear Drop style, because during the day, it's a very peaceful look, and then at night, i enjoy the soft white or warm white color, being peaceful. And having the 8 different modes is great! I can easily press the Mode button to set them to the pattern that i want to see for a while. Or even set it to cycle through all of the modes, of which the fast blink or 'chasing' pattern is my favorite! Just visualizing it in my mind as i write this, is making my smile / laff a bit. That in itself is quite a blessing. They arrive with a VERY clear, see through quality of clear plastic. But i won't mind if that gets hazy with age, as i believe that haziness will enhance the light reflecting around inside the shape during the night. My only apprehension, is how long will the plastic last in this So. California sun. Some very thin plastic pin wheels that i've purchased from the Dollar store, dry out, crack and break and crumble within a year or two. But these are substantially thicker than those. I include this as the only possible weakness of the item. Admittedly not really a fair comparison. The dimensions I have started with for the swag are 36 inches wide by 18 inch droop. Which i have decided to change to a less drastic swag. I'm going to try 36x12 next, as i believe that will be a more peaceful look, and will be a more natural look, like the arc of the tree and shrub branches nearby. Wow! Now HERE"S a 5 Star rating - I'm looking outside at the light setup, as i write this, and just saw a Humming Bird land on a few different bulbs, before flying away! Can't imagine that their shape really fooled it. Are they that nice looking and different that it was curious to check them out? Anything that attracts Humming Birds is fantastic, to me! :)
