Two Dogs Designs 2D-FP44445 Fire Pit Cover with UV Protection, 44 Inch, Khaki

I am a researcher so I have to look at every firepit cover on the internet before I choose ""the one"". My firepit came with a flimsy, vinyl cover that didn't last 3 months - corners tore open and finally a large palm frond fell on it in a storm and split a hole in the top. Plus it was ugly in contrast to all my custom cushioned deck furniture and cushions overlooking the water and mangroves. I looked at custom made canvas for $500, and weird silky looking fabric covers for over $100. There were a lot of really bad plastic covers. Not many were 42 x42x20 and most of them were horrible colors. I buy a lot from Hayneedle for my interior design clients and myself. I found a great looking cover in khaki polyester blend that looks and feels just like canvas. It is well made, has velcro ties to keep it tight. It was actually a little more than 42"" with an additional 1/2 inch on each side. Since I needed a 20"" length and this was 18"" length it gave me a little more drop on all sides. When I put it on it fit perfectly, it is waterproof, the fabric is durable and the color attractive. I paid around $39.00. This is why I love Hayneedle. High Quality Product for great prices. I was really pleased to open the box and find that the material was a heavy canvas with extra support in the top middle where the logs are above the table top. There is also four Velcro straps to pull the cover tight and keep it from blowing off.
