Upgraded 65 mustang to Disc-Disc

This was an easy installation for my 65 Mustang. I replaced my 56 year old brake lines so I cannot comment on what it would take to reuse the existing. The existing holes were reused. I did need to get new bolts for the fire wall adapter since I was replacing a 2 bolt factory unit, simple drive to NAPA. - Oh - I am not a mechanic, just a hobbyist.

Be sure to check booster pushrod length

The booster pushrod is adjustable but even in max out condition and using extension shipped with booster, was too short to get proper MC engagement. Had to remove their extension screw and fabricate a longer one from a metric SS screw to get proper engagement. Do yourself a favor and purchase the depth checking tool to ensure proper engagement. On a 66, this is tight and a PITA to R&R.
