A Folding Peel Rant: An Excerpt From the Kitchen

Pie Supply 14" x 16" Aluminium Pizza Peel w/ Foldable Wooden Handle. This is exactly what I needed: a pizza peel wide enough to handle a large pizza, but able to fold at the handle so storage isn't restricted to the top of the pizza oven. Actually, who has a pizza oven, other than all those pizza places up and down the right coast? Their peels (and handles) are huge! My little oven in my little kitchen is matched in scale by this little folding peel, but it can still sling a large pizza. Oh, and the leather shoelace hanger that runs through the hole at the end of the handle is not necessary if you fold it and slide it vertically on the shelf. But, that little leather loop definitely matches the rest of my grilling kit's leather shoelace fashion statement. So, maybe I'm all about leather shoelaces on cooking kit? Well, that, and ranting. Stone!
