I have 2 of this size itscalmodt a 2/3 of a 5 gallon bucket in actual sixjng need to knowvuts rated to hold 25 lbs. This one holds dried mealworms for chickens; other 25 lb one holds abiut 85 full sized dried pigs ears for dog chewing. I also have 2 80 pounder's which holds 50 lbs of dog food and 50 lbs of chicken feed. THESEARE RATED BY WEIGHT CAPACITY NOT VOLUME READ COMMENTS FOR IDEAS OF VOLUME YOUCAN REPLACE LIDS AND SEALS IN THESE Lids are airtight moisture proof.

We had a problem with ants . Had to throw away a brand new bag of cat food . Decided to get this to keep our cat food in . You can't smell the cat food when kept in these containers which attracts pests . It also keeps the food fresh .
