I actually bought these for my daughter. Her apartment got remodeled and she got new cupboards and stove. I have had these gap covers for at least 8 years and have found they do keep food and liquid from falling down between stove and cupboard. It saves a lot of scrubbing . They make nice little gifts….but you have to explain what they are for when you first look at them. My daughter likes them also.

These are the perfect answer for those drips between the stove and the cabinets. My gaps were half-inch and they covered them perfectly. The strips are sturdy and haven't been bothered by oven or stove top heat. They are not clear, however. Hence, the four star on appearance. They are a frosty, see-thru white. It looks OK, they do blend somewhat with the countertop. Great price. Good item.
