LOOOOVEE this! It's really sturdy and so worth every single penny. I always pictured this bed frame when I thought about what I wanted in my bedroom. This bed is absolutely amazing. The quality is fantastic. It has a great finish. I simply could not be happier with the product, the packaging, and ease of assembly. Get this bed! I am sure, someone or a team thoughtfully constructed this bed and packaging with focus, care, and QUALITY. The pocket Spring Mattress is just SO PERFECT, it is the exact mattress that is recommended for lower back pains. For anyone with orthopedic issues, this mattress acts like medicine - Definitely recommended for sound deep sleep! This bed does not creak, does not shake, and it's so stable and so easy to build. It is DRASTICALLY EASIER to build than ANY Ikea bed. If you can build Ikea, this bed is like child's Legos. Plus, the headboard is absolutely gorgeous. The wood feet look really nice and make it look expensive. I love it! It's also very smartly designed, in a way that makes it easy for one person to put together. HIGHLY recommend. Headboard, Footboard and base: Look - This is a really nice, classy looking base. It's simple design. The fabric is textured but not rough. Cushioning - If you happened to hit your head on the headboard, it has some light cushioning. Design - The mattress is almost flush with the base so it's easy to sit on top. Mattress: Look - This is a great mattress for the price. It's also a classy design (though you probably are going to cover that). Feel - It's springy but I find it comfortable to sleep on the side, back or stomach. - It also provides plenty of support on the side of the mattress so it's comfortable to sit on and would be great for something to sit on when putting on shoes etc. (I'm 5'4"). Siding - One minor flaw is that there is no cushioning on the side of the mattress. You can feel the springs on the sides if you try to. But that being said, there is no reason why you would need or want to touch the side of the mattress. Smell - A HUGE plus, the mattress doesn't smell hardly at all. A lot of mattresses smell chemically when you take them out of the box, it's only been 24 hours, and there isn't a very strong smell at all. Overall: The combination of this mattress and frame is very unassuming. Great for a more modern looking room and easy to accent with other design features.
