I have a few A2000's and a mizuno mvp prime. This glove's leather is on the same level as the a2000. But the laces, the laces beat the a2000 by a long shot. They are insanely good. They are so tough its almost discouraging. I broke one a2000 in with 2 in the pinky and 1 traditional. I broke this easton in 2 in the pinky. It took twice as long because the laces are so good. Now, I didnt use water which speeds things up because I like doing the break in. Took me 2 months of beating and pounding and catching and repeating this to break this beast in. Now my a2000 are 11.5 and this is a 13" glove. So maybe its because the finger stalls were so tall comparatively, but this thing would not break in without constant work. I had to loosen the laces because I couldn't stretch the laces on the fingers. After 2 months, I just loosened them and then it finally formed up. Now its closing easy but staying open until I squeeze it. Swallows the ball and looks solid doing it. Glove looks amazing after break-in too. Will last years in slowpitch unless you just leave it outside and neglect it. Even then, its built so good, probably wouldn't faze it. Glove is frickin awesome.
