Traditional, warm and relaxing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I selected Prominence Home 52" Spring Hollow Ceiling Fan to update our den and this fixture suits the room very well. The darker oil rubbed bronze finish, the reversible wood finish fan blades and the glass light bowl cover are attractive. This fixture looks strong and traditional and gives the room a feel that is warm and relaxing. The fan looks and feels very good quality right out of the box. All the components are well made and durable, all the finishes are uniform. Everything needed was included for installation (including the bulbs). I usually install light fixtures by myself but I did like having a pair of extra hands to hold the ceiling fan base in place. We installed this in the close-mount position and had this fan up quickly without any trouble. The instructions are very good and easy to follow. Now that this is installed the style and the 52” blade size really were the best selection for the room décor and size. The fan is 3-speed, it circulates air noticeably well and the motor operates smoothly and silently. I also like that this has the reverse motor function so the fan can be used year around to circulate air. This is a good pick. I think from everything I have seen this fan is solid, sturdy and will last a long time. We put this in a den but this could look really nice in a lot of different rooms.
