The model is not suited for winter weather and cold temperature use.

You Must Try NT01

Ran the NT01 on the SoCal streets, autocross, and on track. It really brings out what Miata is supposed to be about. And the factory turbo Mazdaspeed doesn't make that much power, but the tire handled acceleration/deceleration as well as lateral load. You'll never know what Miatas can do if you don't every try this level of traction.

Great Track Day Tire

I'm using these on a full race car not a Mini. Have 14 track days on a set of NT-01's. I'm running a 3/4 scale tube chassis Allison Legacy car that has been modified for road racing & track days. The car only weighs 1,700 lbs. tread life is amazing. Bought them heat cycled to make sure they were properly broken in. They are very consistent lap to lap. Don't fall off in 25 minute sessions. Great value for me.

great track day tire

Use these on my M3 which is set up for track weekends. Very sticky once warmed up, give lots of feedback, and are predictable at their limits. So far they've handled 6 days of multiple runs sessions, and ~8,000 miles of road time and still have lots of life left. Not bad in the damp, just no standing water or they'll hydroplane quickly. And any temps less than ~40*F means leave the car parked, because they lose all grip if not warmed.
