BFGoodrich G-Force R1 Racetrack/Autocross Tire

As BFGoodrich's Racetrack & Autocross only special-use DOT-legal racing tire, the g-Force R1 was developed for qualified vehicles and drivers looking for endurance race performance, as well as track-day drivers seeking predictable grip that allows ease of driving lap after lap. The g-Force R1 takes longer to reach increased temperatures compared to the g-Force R1-S, so it offers longer dry grip and extended wear on tracks that are hard on others tires due to extreme heat. (For ultimate grip as well as a tire better suited for cooler days, the g-Force R1-S is a better option.)

The g-Force R1 uses a competition tread compound removing the need for shaving. Rubber bridges are molded repeatedly for even wear and to further the tire's slick-like performance. Even though the tires need minimal scuffing, heat cycling is recommended to further heighten consistency and wear. The compound of the heats up providing predictable grip that is lenient and makes pushing the vehicle to the limit even easier. To maximize the tread-life, the symmetric, semi-slick tread design allows the tire to move in different direction. The g-Force R1 cannot be mixed with g-Force R1-S tires on a vehicle. (As is standard with all Racetrack & Autocross Only tires, g-Force R1 radials are not intended to be driven on the highway, in very wet conditions, or in cold temperatures - especially through snow or on ice.)
