Continental ContiWinterContact TS 830 P Winter 245/35R19 93W XL Passenger Tire

I live in upstate NY and am constantly traveling between the Hudson Valley and the Adirondacks. I bought these about a month ago so I'm not sure yet about tread wear but they are a huge improvement to my high end all season run flats in snow and winter conditions. They grab the snow-covered roads much better, clearly improved cornering, stopping and turns and they also ride quietly on bare pavement. I am very pleased with them. I am not seeing noticeable reduced gas mileage. I have an Audi Q7 Prestige with 20" tires...I bought 18" winter tires, adjusting for the diameter changes so the height remained static. It worked--the car did not sound off any warning bells, such as the ESC, tire or engine lights. That is always the big concern so if you are changing the diameter of your tires, you need to recalculate the tire's width and sidewall ratio. I recommend these tires to anyone who has tough winter conditions.

I have installed these tires on my 2006 Ford Taurus and have no complaints. Winter weather was no problems plowing through 8" of snow. Wet traction is great on sharp cornering. Black ice conditions are mostly at night since I work nights and as long as you drive smart, these tires will grab any surface and get you through. I run these tires all year long but is not recommended. Summer down pours on the highways in PA can be unpredictable and these tires are the BOMB!
