Excellent Water Repellency from Bugaboo II

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace an old yellow rain jacket that started to become tattered. I really like the colors of this jacket. I purchased the python green / moss color. It is just bright enough to be visible on dark & cloudy rainy days. As a side note, the copper orange & gray jacket is just too dark in color for my preference. I must note that the water repellency is excellent. And having a removeable inner lining, that doubles as a thin fleece jacket, is a nice bonus. Behind the fleece lining is an amazing technology used to help keep you warm either with or without the fleece lining zipped in. It's like a bunch of silver dots inside the actual outer shell. I'm sure that even if I used this jacket without the fleece liner, I would still be plenty warm here in California climate. I truly believe this jacket to be of high quality and would recommend it to everyone I know. Thanks Columbia!

The best jacket I ever had. Purchased in 2008 Bugaboo, still like new!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of this jacket is incredible. I bought it to go to the UK during Christmas 2008, where I walked in the rain and cold for most of my stay, without feeling it thanks to it. Since then I have used it in the bitter Chicago winter, in the Smoky Mountains, on the NC beaches for 4wd and winter walking on the sand, with Willow, my dog. Also to work on the roofs of buildings with a lot of wind and with all the comfort of movement that a technician in industrial equipment needs, etc. I still have it and despite dozens of washes, it's still like new. I love this jacket, I'm glad they continue to make it.

Very comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 3-1 jacket is wonderful! I'm from Huntsville Alabama working in the elements of Michigan for a couple weeks. I've been dealing with blowing snow and wind. It has kept me warm and dry. The lightweightness of the jacket does not weigh me down and the freeness of how it moves does not hinder me moving or lifting anything.
