Very nice speakers, especially for book shelf. I have seen others run them for a PC etc... Mine are run to an older techniques turntable and a JCV receiver out in the garage for car working or general tool working time. They are LOUD and clear with my 400 old albums and louder with the new. I've been around good music for 45 or so years, loud music too. I have 3 cars, the least stereo is 3,000 watts. These aren't going to rattle your room, walls or anything else. But if you want clear sound on at least 3 ways, this is your speaker. The bass is not crushing, but it is there and doesn't rattle or anything else. I suggest buying this speaker. One thing, shop around. I found this speaker for $30 less on a few sites right after I purchased. Comes from the same shipping and everything. Still a great speaker.
