Prevent back strain loading a deer by yourself!

I'm a 66-year-old hunter with several medical problems that frequently hunts by myself. Due to medical my issues, I am no longer capable of loading a deer into the bed of my F-150 without assistance. Last year I purchased an L-E-Vator and used it during an out-of-state hunt. This device made loading a 200 plus pound whitetail deer by myself quick and extremely easy. I had imagined that it would have been difficult to turn the crank handle, but to my surprise it was easy and very smooth. I was so impressed with this item that I have purchased several more since then to give as gifts to friends and family members that also frequently hunt alone. The instructions provided with the unit are adequate. Assembly was very easy and took me less than 30 minutes. A really nice feature of this unit is that, when not in use, it will fold down flat which makes transporting in your vehicle easier and much quieter.

best purchase I've made in a while

I love this thing. I regularly need to lift 50-100lb bins into my car and I am so glad to not be endangering my back anymore. This lift is exactly what I needed, and the price felt really reasonable, especially since it will help me avoid back-injury-related bills ($$$) down the line. An ounce of prevention is worth many pounds of cure and all that. There are definitely some easy improvements that I will make to make it rattle less in the car, rewind the cable so the winch is smoother, and maybe get some endcaps for the square pipe so it isn't as sharp around the edges. I have a little trouble getting the support cables on their hooks, especially when my hands are cold, so gotta figure something out there. I loved seeing other people's modifications in the reviews before I bought it, it gave me a better idea of the product/what to expect as well as ideas for how I could improve mine. I'll repeat what other reviewers said, that the pictures in the instructions don't perfectly match the parts... but I had no trouble with assembly.
