Dorman 674-894 Catalytic Converter with Integrated Exhaust Manifold for Specific Ford Models, Natural

There are three places where this piece mounts to the car and none of them worked like they're supposed to. (1) The catalytic converter on this part is a smaller diameter than the original and the package did not include the semi-circular brackets to hold it (they are pictured in the item's picture but weren't in the box). Had to fabricate a couple inserts to make it work with the original bracket. (2) The curved part between the flex joint and the flange was enough off center that it took a ton of twisting to get it to bolt to the rest of the exhaust, and now there's a contant twisting pressure against the flex joint. Also, for the price I'd expect it to include new exhaust flange bolts. (3) The included exhaust manifold gasket appears to be crap, followed proper torque down process including heating engine up and re-torqueing, but the gasket popped a leak after like 3 days of highway driving. So after spending a lot of money on this part, and a bunch of time to install it, all it did was move my exhaust leak from a rusted out flex pipe to a crappy exhaust manifold gasket. Definitely should have just welded in a generic flex pipe instead of trying to fix it "the right way" with this rediculously expensive part (the same part for my 09 ford focus can be found <$100, and that included exhaust flange bolts)
