GREAT Resource for Reading Test Prep!

This book is a game changer for reading instruction! It is amazing! It teaches students all of the strategies that they need to be successful on any type of reading assessment that they take. It walks the students and the teacher through specific test-taking and reading strategies. These activities can be quick with just a few questions or you can turn it in to a multiple text practice or assessment. These questions are exactly what they see on their state assessments and is essential to my teaching now. I highly recommend this book to anyone who teaches 6th grade. Carson Dellosa also offers this text for multiple grade levels.

great resource

I received a complimentary copy of this book. As a homeschool parent the common core aspect was not that important or necessary to me or to my teaching. However, the workbook itself still offered a tremendous amount of information and practice for my children. I would purchase this book as a workbook for my children as it was a helpful learning tool.

Excellent resource for elevating test scores!

I received a complimentary review copy of this book. As a teacher, I really like the way the book is organized and in easy to use format. It is perfect for those mini lessons on literature, informational text and paired passages. The activities can be taught whole class or small group. They are also great for "bell-ringer" activities.
