I was excited to get these because my husband uses ear plugs every night when he goes to bed and we wanted to try a different brand. He was extremely satisfied. Not sure how well they would work in a loud construction or machinery setting because we haven't tried that, but for normal, everyday, inside and outside noises, they work well. The brand he used before worked ok, but he said these were better. He said they were comfortable. They form to the inside of the ear well and can be reused. The thing he liked the most though is that the kept our the noise better than the ones he's been previously using. He will definitely continue using them and we do recommend them.

I recently received the orange soft ear plugs. Over the years I have used many different ear plugs that have ranged from cheap to expensive. These performed very well when I used them for sleeping. The individual packaging kept them soft. It will also come in handy to pack to take along to places like the gun range or riding on a motorcycle in the future. They were easy to 'squish' to inert into the ear canal. They expanded slowly and were comfortable. They were long enough to not get lost after insertion, but not too long where resting on my side caused any discomfort when the ear was directly lying against the pillow. I could detect muffled bass sounds but all other sounds were not noticeable. I did not as yet try my alarm with them in but I think the alarm sounding may get through if it's close enough. Overall, I do believe that these ear plugs are a winner for softness, comfort, portability and sound reduction.
