Worth the extra $$$
I needed a high-quality, durable, and dependable pair of pants for rainy Spring/Summer/Fall fishing. I read the specs for these pants and decided to try a pair. These Frogg Toggs Pilot rain pants are by far the best value pair of foul weather pants I've owned. I purchased a $100 pair of Cabelas Gore-Tex rain pants in 2006, and after ONE washing, the water proofing failed. I even applied a water proofing spray chemical to my Cabelas pants, but the pants won't keep me dry. These Pilot pants are a great value, and the garment won't cause you to over heat on mild days when rain bibs are just too bulky. I can wear these Pilot pants over a pair of shorts to provide wind protection on cool Spring/Fall afternoons of fishing. I just wipe the garment with a wet towel for clean up, but they are machine washable. I will definitely purchase another pair soon for other outdoor activities. Very satisfied with item!!!
